What's New?

  • SharePoint - SharePoint allows for the presentation and sharing of business critical information in one central location via a web interface and provides for ease of work collaboration across your organization.
  • Radio: STARCOM21 - STARCOM21 is a statewide, 700/800 MHz, Project 25 compliant, digital, trunked voice radio network that is open to all public safety and public service agencies in Illinois.
  • System Security Assessments - State applications and systems are increasingly more public facing. System Security Assessments allow for their testing to ensure that only appropriate information is presented and personal information is protected.

What's Changing?

  • Continued expansion of the BCCS service catalog to include more information about service rates, product detail and performance expectations.
  • Continuous updates of current BCCS services as well as the addition of new services as they are introduced.
  • Organizational and infrastructure foundations are being established thereby growing CMS BCCS into an IT Service Management Organization, resulting in on-going enhancements to the services reflected in the catalog.
